Thane: KIMS Hospitals, Thane, has announced the appointment of Dr Anil Heroor, one of India’s most accomplished oncosurgeons, as Director – Onco Sciences.
This strategic leadership move marks a new era in advanced, patient-centric cancer care for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and Western India.
With more than two decades of clinical excellence, Dr Anil Heroor brings expertise across gastrointestinal, breast, head and neck, and minimally invasive cancer surgeries.

A Gold Medalist from Tata Memorial Hospital, he is known for his contributions to surgical oncology, medical education, and multidisciplinary treatment innovations.
Prior to joining KIMS Hospitals, Dr Anil Heroor served as Head of Surgical Oncology at Fortis Hospital, Mulund, where he successfully developed integrated cancer care programs.
